Welcome to the online portfolio of my work.
I grew up in St. Louis, MO as the oldest of eight kids. I took up photography at the age of eight and started my own business by the age of seventeen. I have a bachelor of arts in English writing and business communication from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. I like to tell stories. Always have… and all of the things that I do, whether it’s photography, writing, or podcasting, is just a new way to tell a story.
I photographed New York Fashion Week in September of 2018, which was pretty much the coolest thing I’ve ever done. I was named an emerging American writer for my work in memoir writing by Z Publishing in August of 2018, and again in March of 2019 for my work in flash fiction. I write, host, and edit The eSpecial Needs Podcast, and my own personal podcast, Thoughts I Should Keep To Myself. I currently work as a marketing coordinator for eSpecial Needs.
This is me. Photograph from Craig Warnhoff.
